Slavnostní zahájení a festivalový pátek

Páteční programy začaly již v 10 hodin dopoledne na loukách u Platanové aleje pořadem Dětská Strážnice 2026 – Tancem kolem světa, jehož autorkami jsou Marie Flašarová a Michaela Plachá. Ve čtvrtek se uskutečnila první programová vystoupení 81. ročníku Mezinárodního folklorního festivalu Strážnice, která přilákala malé i velké diváky. Ani současné tropické počasí návštěvníky neodradilo a areál festivalu už od dopoledních hodin doslova žil.
